When is it time to change your hearing aid battery?

It is always good to make sure you have hearing aid batteries on you. You don’t want to be unable to hear during an emergency or even a long work meeting.

These batteries take about 3-4 hours to fully charge and will power your hearing aids for about 18-24 hours per charge depending on how often you use your Hearing aid. These rechargeable batteries should be replaced after one year of use. They should also be recharged every night.

HOW TO TEST IF A RECHARGEABLE HEARING AID BATTERY IS STILL GOOD

You can test the hearing aid batteries with a hearing aid battery tester. If you do not have a hearing aid battery tester you could simply insert your battery into the hearing aid and close the door. Hold the device up to your ear and listen for any squealing sounds. If there’s no sound at all, then the battery isn’t working anymore.
