Photo shoot of our Tesla Model S along Coastal Highway 101 in Northern California

I knew we had a good reason for washing the car.  Photo shoot time.  Too bad it’s afternoon and the sun is on the wrong side of the car.

Pacific Coast in California, South of Crescent City. Wide angle photo taken by Juan.

This is the Key or Key FOB to our Tesla Model S. There is no actual key. The car turns on when the key FOB is inside the car. The FOB has various controls. Press once on the roof to lock the car, press twice to unlock it. The car will also sense the proximity of the FOB to the vehicle and automatically unlock the doors when you walk up to it. Just press on a front door handle and all four handles pop out. Press twice on the hood of the FOB to unlock the Frunk and twice on the back to unlock and open the rear hatch of the car. Press twice to close the hatch is you have the auto open/close option. We take care not to scratch the FOB when keeping it in our pockets. Don't stick it in a pocket with keys or coins. I thinks there's a way to lower the windows too. Will need to play with it a little more. Can probably activate the alarm too.
