She’s 4 Sale. I have listed my Model S for Sale on eBay.

People may find this very hard to believe, but yes it’s true, my Telsa Model S is for sale.  She has been listed on eBay.  Everyone is going to ask, why I am selling it?   Well first of all, I do believe this is a fantastic car, no buts.  I think it’s the best car every made and I love it.  But it did cost me over $100,000 and the honest truth is I do not need such an expensive car.  My office is only about 5 miles from my home and half of the time, I stay working from home and don’t even make it into the office.   I also travel quite a lot, so whenever I’m away the car is not getting used.  Simply said, I can be without it.  I can take the 100K and invest it in hearing aid batteries or something similar.   I do have a deposit on another Model S.  If I decide to take another cross country trip, I may possibly configure a new Model S, with slightly different options and give it another go.  By December 2013, we are moving the office and warehouse to a bigger location, I may have to travel 20 miles or more to the office each day.  I may just keep the second one…….we will see.

In the meantime, here are pictures of what I posted on ebay.  Here’s the link to the eBay listing too.

Ok, this is an easy trick. The photo on the center screen is actually the rear camera. The back door is open, so the camera is pointed toward the sky. That's downtown Miami across the bay. I'm on Government Cut the camera is facing East.

Yes, the rear seats fold down and there is a ton of space for cargo. To bad the seats don't fold down flush, otherwise you would be able to sleep in the back.

I will spare you of looking at all four wheels, but they are posted on the eBay listing. Oh, by the way the Tesla does not come with any spare.  That’s right no spare, so buy a few cans of  Fix It Flat and if that doesn’t work you are stuck.  I find this a little strange and it makes me a little uncomfortable.  Next trip, I may want to carry a tire iron and a spare.  Tesla should offer some type of temporary spare kit for purchase.

Yes the door handles are very cool. Chrome, they retract automatically and at night they are light up with a white LED from underneath when they extend.

Cool magnet, we got this at the first hotel we stayed at upon arriving to Portland, OR. Too bad the car body is aluminum and the magnet doesn’t stick. I had to use saliva. The charge port changes colors. Blue means its waiting to be plugged in. Green means its charging, although if the car is locked the light shuts off. Red means a short or bad connection. The cover is a red reflector which hinges open, when you press a button on your touch screen or remote phone app.

The opposite end of the cable. The green light shows a good current, I think this works as a protective breaker as well. I had an electrician put in a 240V 60Ah outlet at my office. I can charge the Tesla outside in the parking lot or inside- parked in the warehouse.
