Details about my new 2013 Model S Performance model

My Tesla Model S comes with the 85KW battery pack, it’s a performance model which is the fastest of all the versions.  The electric motor is rated at around 416HP, but it really feels much faster.   Wheels are the standard 21″ in grey with high performance tires.  The paint scheme is the Pearl White Multi-Coat which is a metallic like white.  It looks nicer than standard white and has more depth and richness of color.  Included on this car is the Tech package, which includes Turn-by-turn Navigation system with 7 yrs of free map updates, Xenon headlights, Electrochromatic side mirrors, LED cornering lights, interior convenience lighting, power rear lifegate, high def back-up camera, Homelink, and automatic keyless entry.  The car also has the all glass panoramic sunroof, upgraded studio sound package and Active Air Suspension.  It’s Supercharger ready and we are looking forward to testing out a Supercharger station when we arrive to California.  Also included is a long cable (around 15 or 20′) a household outlet adapter, 240V outlet adapter and a J1772 public charging station adapter.  The warranty on the battery is 8 years, unlimited mileage. When we swing by the factory in Freemont for a visit we will probably pick up a few optional adapters which may come in handy on our trip cross-country.  I’ve included a bunch of pic from MyTesla page which are studio grade.  When you have reserved a Model S and configure the options, the mytesla pages display photos of the options as you select them and “build” your car design.

I guess what? Your Tesla Model S actually improves over time!!! Yes, the car’s operating software system receives periodical software upgrade releases, improving various functions and options of the car’s operation. Pictured here is a summary of the features in the 4.2V Release. Such software upgrades are automatically downloaded to the vehicle.
