SAFT LITHIUM-SULFUR DIOXIDE [Li-SO2] BATTERIES AND CELLS:

Featuring spiral electrodes and built in safety vents, Saft's Lithium-Sulfur Dioxide batteries are designed for applications requiring continuous currents in the 0.1 to 5 amp range. These batteries come in several ranges including BA, G, and LO ranges.  Their main applications include military radio communication, sonobuoys and underwater applications, emergency location transmitters beacon [ELTs, EPIRBs], professional electronics, cardiac defibrillators, and more.

Most lithium battery models are Underwriters Laboratories [UL] recognized [file number MH 15076] and are compliant with numerous military battery standards.

SAFT LITHIUM-THIONYL CHLORIDE [Li-SOCI2] CELLS AND BATTERIES:

Lithium-thionyl chloride batteries are available in several ranges including the LS/LST/LSG range and the LSH battery range. Both feature bobbin electrodes, stainless steel battery containers, and hermetic glass-to-metal battery sealing.  The LS/LST//LSG range of batteries are designed for reliable longer term [3-15 year] applications requiring periodic battery pulses in the 5-150 mA range.  Highly resistant to humid environments, their applications include memory back-up, real-time clocks, utility metering, wireless alarms and security devices, electronic toll collection, professional electronics and more.

For applications requiring continuous currents ranging 0.1 to 1.8 Amps, the Saft LSH batteries can be used for a many of the same applications as Saft LS/LST/LSG range of batteries as well as GPS, oil exploration, mobile asset tracking, automotive telematics, and telemetric applications.


Both Saft lithium-thionyl chloride battery ranges are compliant with Underwriters Laboratories [UL file number MH 12609] and with IEC 60086-4 and EN 50020 safety standards.
