Rayovac is the world's best selling zinc air battery brand with its promise of more power with extended battery life. Rayovac's zinc air hearing aid batteries have up to 17% greater power and a guaranteed freshness of 4 years.
Rayovac zinc air batteries are environmentally safe. They pass the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's toxicity tests for Mercury, Cadmium, and Lead. Rayovac demonstrates its commitment to health and environment in more than one way. In 2008, Rayovac was among the first to protect us from the release of mercury through its introduction of mercury free hearing aid batteries. Additionally, both the cardboard and the plastic dials of Rayovac battery packages are made from recyclable materials.
With very few exceptions, Rayovac zinc air batteries are made in the USA. Rayovac plants strive to be environmentally friendly through internal EMS systems and quality checks, and its business partners focus on CO2 emissions, pollution prevention, and renewable energy.
Storage loss for all Rayovac zinc air batteries is at a low rate of 5% per year when stored at 70°F [21°C]. Rayovac cochlear batteries storage loss rate is a low 10% at 70°F [21°C].
To activate and use Rayovac hearing aid batteries and cochlear batteries, remove and discard plastic tab covering air holes. Allow battery to stand for one minute to ensure proper activation. Battery compartment must allow oxygen supply to reach air holes.

Making Sense Rayovac Models And Logos
You have probably seen a range of names and logos associated with Rayovac zinc air batteries— Ultra, Proline, Extra, Loud 'n Clear, and others. All of these hearing aid batteries are of the same quality, only the sub-brand names differ. For example, while Loud 'n Clear is sold to chain stores and pharmacies, Proline is distributed to audiologists and hearing aid specialists.
